Francois Filiatrault's adventure began at the age of 16 when he was initially interested in cabinetmaking. In 2000 he created his first company and in 2004 he created Unixdrums.

 

From the first steps of Unix drums, the company has forged a worldwide reputation becoming one of the leaders in the manufacture of stave drums, giving to this type of construction a more modern look.

 

Specifically recognized for his mastery of spectacular finishing, Francois has now mastered the art of steambending, thereby becoming the first Canadian company to develop this manufacturing technique.

 

The refinement brought to the manufacturing process of the shells and the great attention to detail make Unix Drums one of the references and set them apart.
